saying goodbye to "birthmom Chel"

Saturday started off by heading into Park City for some shopping at the Outlets. Daigen's birthmom Chelsea came with us for the whole day. When we got to the Outlet's Daigen was getting out of his car when he saw Chelsea and he was so excited to see her. The first thing out of his mouth was: "Look Dad, it's birthmom Chelsea!" It completely melted Chelsea's heart. It's so nice to know that he is actually listening when we are trying to teach him things.
We spent some time at the mall and got some cute outfits for Daigen for this fall when he starts Pre school. Then we headed off to Heber City for our Thomas day adventure to begin. Daigen was in seventh heaven when he saw all the trains. We got there and got in line and had our 20 minute ride on Thomas. Daigen and CJ thought it was the neatest thing. Then we went into the souvenir shop and Daigen was quit embarrassing. (imagine that! :) ) He was SCREAMING as we were trying to get him out, then he saw the tent that had lots of train tables set up. So he played for over an hour with the trains and we were all ready to go....BUT him. So needless to say we had ANOTHER "moment" with him!!! We saw the tent that had tattoos so we went i there to get his mind off all the other trains and he was loving life as soon as he saw Thomas on his face. All in all we had a terrific time on Saturday and had so much fun catching up with Chelsea. We love her so much and are so grateful for her. Stay tuned for more pics from Day 3.......

Day 1 of our FUN Memorial Day Weekend!!!!

We decided to go to Utah Memorial weekend because Thomas the Train was going to be in Heber City. Those of you who know Daigen, know that he is in LOVE with Thomas. So we decided to see if his cousin CJ wanted to come to and sure enough he did!!! Bairds ended up coming down that weekend as well, so we had so much fun!!! The first day we went to the Hogle Zoo. We met up with Daigen's birthmom and her sisters at the zoo and had a great time with them all. Aunt Sheila and her family met us there as well. Daigen was really excited to ride the Carousel he had never been on one yet and thought he was "cool stuff". We got to see lots of animals. He really enjoyed the giraffes and the bears. They had a train there, but we made sure that was the last thing we did because we knew we would NEVER be able to get him out of the park. Sure enough he was kicking and screaming all the way out of the Zoo. After the zoo we went to Hires in SLC and had the best burgers ever with the Johansens. Then laterin the evening we came back to the condos and played a little tennis with the adults and called it a night shortly after. It was a fun day, but VERY long......
Stay tuned for....Day 2

Mommy and Birthday boy

Oh...... now what is this?????

I shall touch oh so very dainty....

Oh........ that is tasty!!!!!

WOW!!! This is GREAT stuff!!!! How did I get sooo lucky???

He was soooo excited as soon as he saw the ball!!!

WOW!!! Time fly's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not believe my baby has turned 1. It was a bitter sweet day for me. Glad the first year is behind us, but can't believe it went soooo fast. He has been so much fun and a great little baby. As the toddler years are approaching we are quickly seeing an attitude develop with him. He was so cute as he was eating his cake. It took him several minutes before he would even touch it. Daigen had to dip his fingers into the frosting to show Bosten how to do it. As soon as Daigen was done he thought he would try it. So.... oh so very dainty he dipped his finger into it and then tasted it and very soon he discovered he LOVED chocolate frosting. Here are a few pics of his fabulous birthday party.

Bosten, Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we are so happy to have you in our lives. You have been our little miracle from the day we found out we were pregnant with you. You have brought so much joy and happiness to our lives and we are loving watching you grow from day to day. Always know how much we love you and your brother. We feel so blessed to have you both in our lives. We love you more than you will ever know!!!!!
